Guest Refund


The refund policy for guest is directly related to our cancellation policies:

Flexible: Full refund 1 day prior to arrival.  
Moderate: Full refund 5 days prior to arrival.
Strict: 50% refund up until 1 week prior to arrival.

The guest also might be entitled for a full refund according to the next circumstances:

1) If there is an issue with the rented property at the check-in time, such as:  The property is in shabby or poor condition, unhealthy, or unsafe, if the property resulted to be different from the one shown on the platform, or that the living conditions, number of occupants are different from those offered in the listing. The guest will have 12 hours after the check-in time to send a full refund request to support@bungalulu.com. The guest must explain the facts and shall provide the evidence such as pictures or videos if applicable.

In those preceding cases Bungalulu will mediate between the parties to find the way to remediate the problem if possible. If no solution comes up, Bungalulu will have the final decision whether or not the refund will proceed. The guest acknowledges and accepts that Bungalulu's decision regarding the refund request constitutes a final binding agreement so the guest waives the right to any further legal action either Bungalulu or the host. 

2) By the fact the property would be shared with other people but that condition was not revealed in the listing given the fact it was listed for an exclusive use.

In those cases the guest can send a refund request for the remaining time that has not been enjoyed to support@bungalulu.com. To be considered for that specific claim the guest should check-out and leave the property by the time of the request.  Bungalulu will mediate between the parties to find the way to remediate the problem if possible. If no solution comes up, Bungalulu will have the final decision whether or not the refund will proceed. The guest acknowledges and accepts that Bungalulu's decision regarding the refund request constitutes a final binding agreement so the guest waives the right to any further legal action either Bungalulu or the host. 

When a guest is entitled to get a refund, we will proceed automatically to send it, but keep in mind that it may take from 1 to 15 business days until you have it reimbursed in your bank account or payment method used.
